Our Mission

 

 We aim to provide quality learning opportunities that develop and strengthen students to be excited by their learning, to strive to do their best, to know how to set and achieve their goals, to work in partnership and to respect the values and diversity of our community.

 We see our school as a Learning focused Community, connected by shared values and expectations so that we can all, student, staff and parents work in true partnership to realize our vision. 

 We see our Campus values as a strong framework of values younger students will “reach for the STARs” and older students will “realize their potential” and all will enjoy learning success.

 Through consultation with community partnership groups we have clustered our set of values and attributes under the headings of Excellence and Respect.

By the end of 2013:

  • Student achievement improves towards levels consistent with or better than the national average.
  • Staff experience the Campus as an open, motivating learning community
  • Students experience the Campus as an inspiring, empowering learning community. The curriculum offered provides students with the competencies to achieve in their chosen career path.
  • The community recognizes the Campus as a centre of excellence for learning and leadership.
  • Students and staff experience respect to be embedded and nurtured by everyone in the Campus.
